Lonely Bouquet Day
UK & Beyond
Sunday 28th June
Spread a little kindness this year with flowers by taking part in International Lonely Bouquet Day. This heartwarming initiative invites florists and flower lovers to leave small posies or bouquets out in their local communities for someone to discover. Each bouquet carries a simple note, encouraging the finder to take it home and enjoy — a small gesture that can brighten someone’s entire day.
How to get involved with Lonely Bouquet Day
- Create a cute bouquet and attach a note with a message like “Take me home, I’m a lonely bouquet.” For an extra thoughtful touch, include a link or QR code so the finder can share where they discovered it or tag your business.
- Leave your bouquet somewhere public and safe to be found—perhaps on a park bench, outside a community centre, or tucked into a corner of your high street.
- Build a little excitement by sharing hints, clues, or behind-the-scenes snaps on your social channels. Encourage your followers to join the hunt and don’t forget to use hashtags like #thelonelybouquet to connect with others taking part.
Lonely Bouquet Day is a simple, feel-good way to spread joy, showcase your creativity, and connect with your local community — one bouquet at a time. Check out the Lonely Bouquet website for more information and ideas!
