We answer a few of the most frequently asked questions from florists when they are looking at a new website. 

  • How long does it take to get my new website up and running?

    We recommend to allow approximately 6 weeks for the design and development stage of your new website. During this time our expert team will guide you through all the information we need to set up your new website, whilst our designers use their creativite skills to build the layout and look of your new site.
  • How much does a floristPro website cost?

    We keep our pricing fair, simple and easy. There is a one-off set up fee of £99.95 +VAT for the design and development of your new website, and once your website is Live the monthly website package is £64.95 +VAT.   • Can I make changes to my floristPro website myself?

    Yes you can! You have an easy to use content management system (CMS) with access 24/7 - so you have complete control to check your orders, add a new product or update your shop open hours whenever you want. We also have helpful Website User Guides and Videos so you have step-by-step tuition, or our Support Team are here to answer calls and emails during office hours.
  • What does mobile friendly mean?

    Mobile friendly means your website will adjust to the size of screen the customer is using - mobile phone, laptop, tablet or PC. Mobile friendly is one of the most important factors that Search Engines look for as a ranking factor, as this means the user will have the best browsing experience on a website.
  • Will my website be mobile friendly and how much does it cost?

    Yes! Mobile friendly is one of the many great features our websites offer and is included at no extra cost.
  • Will you get me to the top of Google?

    We can't promise that - no company can guarantee ranking number 1 on Google, nor should they. However, our focus is on building a website you, your customers AND search engines like Google will love - easy to navigate, simple ordering and mobile friendly. This, combined with great content and products will help search engines rank your website highly for the relevant search terms, so the RIGHT customers find you online.
  • What is SEO and how does it work with my website?

    SEO stands for Search Engine Optimisation. SEO is a number of key factors that combined together make a website user friendly and help with ranking for key search terms - so the right customers can find the right website online. For example Search Engines love clear, easy to navigate websites, main pages full of helpful and unique content, relevant and local links to other businesses... the list goes on! SEO is complex and on-going, but our team can offer expert advice to help your business. Our websites are built from the ground up to be SEO friendly, including SEO friendly features such as mobile friendly and secure browsing at no extra cost.
  • I don't have a logo for my business?

    A logo is a great way to establish a brand for customers to recognise and engage with. If you don't have a logo yet, we offer a free font logo to use on your new website. Looking for the full works? We also offer a Logo Design Service where our talented designer will create a professional logo, in a format which can be used online, van and shop signage, print or marketing materials.
  • Do I have to use my own images?

    We love it if you have your own product images to use to showcase your floristry style. However, we understand having the time and equipment to take website worthy images can be tough. floristPro have a range of professional Image Collections exclusively for our members to purchase - starting from just £10 they are great for seasonal and core products.
  • How do I take payments on my website?

    We help you sign up for a Payment Provider for your website. There are several Payment Providers our websites can integrate with including WorldPay, Stripe and PayPal. *Please get in touch for partner rates.
  • Is my website secure?

    Online safety for customer data is very important. Our monthly website package includes a SSL Certificate (Secure Sockets Layer), meaning every page on your website has a high security protection and will show the trusted green lock symbol in the address bar.
  • Do you use templates for your websites?

    No we don't use templates for our websites, as we believe each website should have a unique look and layout to suit the individual florist. Our clever, in-house built system gives our designers the flexibility to create bespoke websites - no two floristPro websites are ever the same!
  • Do you offer exclusivity in my area?

    Since floristPro was founded back in 2007, our mission has always been to help florists of all shapes and sizes to bloom online. For this reason, we don't offer area exclusivity to any florist. What we do do is ensure every single website we design is bespoke to the florist - helping your unique style shine online and is a platform to promote your business services.
  • Do you work with any other companies in the floristry industry?

    We are proud to have good working relationships with many companies, as we believe working together helps build a stronger industry. Our websites are designed to work alongside features from Strelitzia Software, Direct2Florist and Floral Frog (optional extras). floristPro also support the work of the British Florist Association - the trade body for the British flower industry. We work closely with the British Florist Association and are proud to be Corporate Members; attending many BFA events and meetings throughout the year, exhibiting at trade shows, offering educational talks and information to BFA florists.   • Are you a relay service?

    No, floristPro are not a relay service. Our specialty is designing websites just for florists - helping local florists reach local customers online. Our members do have the option to use the Direct2Florist order transfer service to send orders via their floristPro admin if they choose to for areas they do not cover.
  • I am already a member of a relay company, can I still have a floristPro website?

    Yes you can. If you have permission from your relay company (such as Interflora or eFlorist), you can use their relay images on you floristPro website. As part of our floristPro service, relay catalogue updates are included in your website subscription. Many of our floristPro members who are part of a relay also have their own products on their floristPro website - you have complete control of the products you sell online.
  • I'm a florist not in the UK, can I still use your website services?

    Yes! We already work with florists outside of the UK including Dubai, New Zealand, Singapore and USA. Our websites can be set to show in your local currency, take online payments, and have Google Translate if required. Talk to us today to find out more!
  • What happens if I want to cancel?

    We know things can change quickly for your floristry business - retirement, selling up or moving premises can all be reasons for needing to close your online business. We just ask for 1 months' notice period to cancel, there are no cancellation fees or long contracts to worry about.
